Flavor Lab Official Rules
No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not improve your chances. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 or older. Void where prohibited.
1. Sponsor
Miss Confection LLC, Loomis, California. Contact Info@missconfection.us or 844-YUM-POPS. This contest is run entirely by the Sponsor.
2. Who can enter
Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees and immediate family or household members of the Sponsor cannot enter. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Entry period
The contest closes November 1, 2026 at 11:59pm Pacific Time. The Sponsor's clock is the official clock. Entries received after that are not eligible.
4. How to enter
Go to the Flavor Lab, build a flavor, give it a name and submit the entry form with your name, email and a sentence about why. Entry is free.
You can also enter by email at no cost: send your cake, dip and topping choices, your flavor name, one sentence about why, and your full name to Info@missconfection.us with the subject line Flavor Lab Entry. Entries by either method are treated exactly the same.
Enter as many flavors as you like. If you enter more than once we judge your strongest entry. One prize per person or household.
5. Sharing is optional
You do not have to post, share, like, follow or tag anyone to enter, and doing so does not improve your chances of winning.
6. How entries are judged
A panel chosen by the Sponsor judges every eligible entry on:
- The flavor idea, 50 percent: how good it would taste and how well it works as a cake pop.
- The name, 30 percent: how memorable and fitting it is.
- Fit with our menu, 20 percent: whether it adds something our 18 flavors do not already have.
Ties are broken on the flavor idea score. This is a contest of skill, so the number of entries does not set your odds. Judging decisions are final and binding.
The score, the tier and the judges shown on the Flavor Lab page are part of the game. They are not the judging, and they do not decide the winner. Real people do.
7. Prize
One winner receives one box of 12 full size cake pops in their winning flavor, shipped free within the United States. Approximate retail value: $71.40 for the pops plus $21.95 shipping, about $93.35 total. No cash equivalent and no substitution, except that the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Any taxes on the prize are the winner's responsibility.
8. Winner notification
The winner is contacted at the email address on their entry within 7 days of the close, and announced on the Sponsor's Instagram and TikTok (@missconfectionstore). If the winner does not reply within 7 days of that email, or the email bounces, or the winner cannot accept the prize, the prize may be awarded to the next eligible entry.
9. Your flavor idea
By entering, you give Miss Confection LLC a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free, fully paid, transferable and sublicensable right to use, change, bake, sell, name, register as a trademark and advertise your flavor idea, your flavor name, and what you wrote, in any way and in any media, with no further payment or approval from you.
You agree that we owe you nothing for any entry, winning or not. You agree that we may already be working on the same or a similar idea, or may receive it from someone else, that your entry is not confidential, and that sending it does not create a partnership, employment or any other special relationship between us.
You promise the entry is your own work and does not copy anyone else. To the extent the law allows, you waive any moral rights in it.
If we bake your flavor we may credit you by first name and last initial, or by your social handle. We will ask you first. Crediting you is at our discretion and is not part of the prize.
10. Publicity
Except where the law forbids it, accepting the prize means the winner agrees we may use their first name, last initial, city, state, social handle and their flavor idea in publicity about this contest, without further payment.
11. Your information
We use what you send only to run this contest and tell you if you won. See our privacy policy. We do not sell or share your information. We will only add you to a new flavor email list if you ask us to.
12. Entries we can disqualify
Entries that are automated, duplicated under different identities, obscene, hateful, or that copy someone else's work. We may also disqualify anyone who tampers with the contest or the site.
13. The limits of our responsibility
By entering you agree to release Miss Confection LLC from any claim arising out of this contest or the prize, to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, or not received because of a technical failure. If the contest cannot run as planned, we may change, pause or end it and judge from the eligible entries received up to that point.
14. Not run by any social network
This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or any other platform. Any questions go to the Sponsor, not to them.
15. Governing law
These rules are governed by the law of the State of California. Any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving Placer County, California.
16. Who won
For the winner's first name and last initial, email Info@missconfection.us with the subject line Flavor Lab Winner any time within 90 days after the close.
