Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect what we need to bake your order and get it to you, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, phone number and shipping address, plus what you ordered. Payment is handled by PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
- When you email or call us: whatever you tell us, so we can answer.
- When you enter the Flavor Lab: your name, email, your flavor idea and, if you give one, your social handle.
- When you suggest a flavor on our home page: your flavor idea and your email.
What we do not collect
This site has no advertising pixels, no analytics trackers and no third party cookies. We are not building a profile of you and we are not following you around the internet.
Why we have it
To take your order, bake it, ship it, answer your questions, and tell you if you won the Flavor Lab. That is the whole list.
Who else sees it
- PayPal processes payment and collects your shipping address. Their privacy policy governs what they do with it.
- USPS, UPS and FedEx get the name and address on your box so they can deliver it.
- Our email provider holds the messages you send us.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we never have. We do not trade it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers or data brokers.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. This site does not track you across other websites in the first place, so there is nothing for the signal to switch off, and we do not respond to it differently.
Marketing email
If you enter the Flavor Lab, we use your email to tell you whether you won. We will only add you to a news or new flavor list if you tick the box asking us to. Every email we send has a way to stop them, and we honor it.
Children
This site is meant for adults ordering desserts. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the Flavor Lab is open to entrants 18 and over. If you think a child has sent us something, email Info@missconfection.us and we will delete it.
Seeing, changing or deleting what we have
Email Info@missconfection.us or call 844-YUM-POPS and ask. We will tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. We keep order records as long as we need them for taxes and for handling problems with an order.
Keeping it safe
This is a small kitchen, not a data company. We hold as little as we can, for as short a time as we can. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
